This recipe is perfect for sharing this holiday season. It is gluten-free and dairy-free, has simple ingredients, and is super delicious!
Ingredients: 1/2 cup almond meal 1/4 cup raw cacao powder 1/2 tsp. baking powder 1/2 cup pure maple syrup or silan 1/2 cup all natural almond butter, smooth or crunchy 1 tsp. pure Madagascar vanilla extract 1/4 cup extra dark chocolate chips, dairy-free 1/4 cup walnuts or almonds, finely chopped Crushed candy cane, optional. Instructions: 1. Preheat oven to 350F. 2. Lay some parchment paper on a large baking sheet. 3. Combine all ingredients, except the chocolate chips and walnuts, and mix well. Then add in the chips and nuts. 4. Use a small spoon, dipped in warm water, to scoop out the dough and place on parchment-lined baking sheet. 5. Bake for 12 minutes. 6. Let cool, add crushed candy cane if desired, and enjoy! These cookies also freeze well, so they're great to make ahead to enjoy later!
